Boise Grand Opening Recap

Earlier this month our Boise branch celebrated its official Grand Opening. It was a fun-filled day for the whole family as our team welcomed customers, supply partners, local dignitaries, and special guests to the branch.  

The event kicked off with remarks from Convoy President & CEO Jean-Marc Sager, General Manager Ryan Jacobs, and Branch Manager Joe Davis. The City of Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling  also provided welcoming remarks. Following this came the ribbon cutting to signify the official start to our new chapter in Nampa. Other special guests included Robyn Sellers, Director of Economic & Community Development, the Boise State Spirit Squad with mascot Buster Bronco, and representatives from Adler Industrial, the company responsible for building the Boise branch.  

After the ribbon cutting, customers enjoyed tacos and ice cream sponsored by Epilay, Weller Associates, and Malarkey. They had opportunity to meet many of our supply partners who came to support the event, and a fastest shingler showdown and saw-holding competition offered a chance to win prizes (and bragging rights too!). There were many other prize giveaways, including a draw to win a portable pizza oven. One lucky winner also walked away with a Traeger BBQ provided by Weller Associates!
