The Fastest Shingler in the West

Six competitors faced off in the final Fastest Shingler match at our Edmonton branch recently but only one was deemed the Best in the West.

This is our fourth annual Fastest Shingler in the West event, partnering with Malarkey Roofing Products to see which Convoy customers and customer crew members can nail down their Malarkey shingles on a 4’ X 8’ roof the fastest. This year we expanded the competition into the Prairies and semifinal contests were held across Convoy Western Canada locations starting in March. 

It all led to this! And our winner is…

Kevin Robbins of Robbins Roofing out of Courtenay BC! Kevin’s time of 2 minutes and 54 seconds has earned him a trip to Vegas to compete in the Roofing Games at the Western Roofing Expo. 

In second place was Simranpreet Singh from Pinnacle Roofing in Kelowna with a time of 3:11, followed by Sam Couture from Mack Kirk Roofing in the Lower Mainland in third at 3:20.
