Our industry continues to encounter many challenges. Costs are increasing across nearly all industries, impacting labour, materials, and logistics, and transparency is important to us all being able to face these challenges together.
As we mentioned in our previous letter, the cost of freight and fuel surcharges arriving at our distribution locations has increased dramatically and, in some cases, has doubled. It is therefore necessary for us to institute a fuel surcharge, effective immediately. This surcharge is intended to accurately represent delivery costs for each local situation.
